In 1971, a very young Leo, after learning the basics of this art from the great masters in Valenza, opens his own workshop bearing his own name. His encounter with the gemologist Rosaria Di Giorgio gives then life to a both professional and personal partnership. The couple, indeed, shares the same values: sense of family, enthusiasm and passion for beauty. A happy marriage crowns this story of love and precious stones, which is the key to the success of this company.
Leo, a lover of contemporary art, still personally designs timeless masterpieces and his children Tancredi, Rocco and Teresa are ready to reap the heritage, while also bringing a new vision of the future in the company.
"What matters the most to us is to guarantee excellence to our customers before, during and after their purchase. As we see it, giving the company our family name is the best way to do it." (Leo Pizzo)
Throughout his career, Leo has been awarded with several acknowledgments, amongst which we like to recall his nomination as "Cavaliere Ordine al Merito della Repubblica Italiana" (Knight in the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic), bestowed by our President, and the prestigious "100 Italian Excellences" award for the unquestionable merits gained in the jewelry field.
